After the performance this past weekend in Florida at the NFA 7v7 National Championships, Michigan QB commit JJ McCarthy is officially a five-star recruit, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The La Grange Park (IL) native committed to Michigan on May 11 and currently holds 33 offers. His ceiling could be very high at the next level and has another two years to develop before college. In the meantime, his performance at last weekends event earned him ‘Alpha Dog’ honors and helped McCarthy reach five-star recruit level.
