Live Michigan blog: Maryland turns ball over on downs

Maryland, despite being held off the scoreboard so far, is moving the ball fairly well against Michigan's defense.

Faced with a fourth-and-3 at the Michigan 47-yard-line, the Terrapins went for it, but backup quarterback Caleb Rowe's pass was incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs.

Maryland starter Perry Hills left with an injury earlier in the drive and per the UM radio broadcast, was taken to the locker room.

Midway through the second quarter, Michigan is ahead, 21-0.
