ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior cornerback Jourdan Lewis of the 12th-ranked University of Michigan football team was named the Jim Thorpe Player of the Week on Wednesday (Oct. 14), announced by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Lewis played a critical role in Michigan's third consecutive shutout last weekend (Oct. 10), a 38-0 win over Northwestern, making four tackles and one tackle for loss and returning an interception 37 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
