WEST BLOOMFIELD TWP., Mich. -- When Wheeler committed to the University of Michigan last week, he fulfilled a life-long dream. Coached by former University of Michigan wide receiver Ron Bellamy at West Bloomfield High School, the 2020 linebacker is a self-proclaimed "animal" on the field.
However, away from the field, he's just a regular kid.
MLive spent some brief time with Wheeler during an interview to give him a rapid-fire Q&A session. When he's not running over opponents, you could find him at a local Coney Island or binge watching episodes of the office.
