It hasn't taken long for Kyle Whittingham to put together a strong coaching staff for the Michigan football program.
One day after the Citrus Bowl, both coordinators have been hired. Whittham confirmed offensive coordinator Jason Beck on College Gameday. Jay Hill, who was expected as the hire for days, has also been hired, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Beck comes from Utah, where he coordinated the fifth-ranked scoring offense in college football last season, capped on Wednesday by a 44-point effort in the Las Vegas Bowl win over Nebraska, a game in which Utah QB Devon Dampier had 458 yards of total offense and five touchdowns.
