Juwan Howard broke down before he even stood up, as his new boss introduced him as the next basketball coach at the University of Michigan.
By the time he stepped onto the stage and neared the podium Thursday afternoon inside the Crisler Center, he couldn’t contain himself.
He smiled, clasped his hands in prayer, and let out a sigh. Still, the tears kept flowing.
