Michigan basketball coach John Beilein is under contract through the 2020-21 season, but when asked by reporters if there’s a contract extension in the works, he said yes.
“As a matter of fact we are. Warde (Manuel) and I have been so busy and apart, but we’re working on that right now. So stay tuned,” Beilein said.
The 65 year old coach annual salary currently sits at $3.37 million, a number that will be rising after he led the Wolverines to a National Championship appearance.
In the same interview, Beilein noted the team will likely be taking a foreign trip this summer.
