Jim Harbaugh updates Josh Ross’ injury following exit from Rutgers game

Michigan linebacker Josh Ross left the game early on Saturday versus Rutgers. In the press box it was called a “stinger injury”.

Ross limped to the medical tent on the sideline, but it sounds like the injury isn’t serious.

“He’s going to be okay,” Harbaugh told the media. “He was working through something and he just didn’t quite get the strength back to be cleared to go back into the game.”

Harbaugh told ABC after the game that Ross would be cleared to play for Michigan’s next game, which is on the road against Wisconsin.
