Jim Harbaugh on 1-5 record vs. Ohio State, MSU: 'It drives us'

The record is hard to run away from.

When Jim Harbaugh first arrived at Michigan in December 2014, there were two expectations with the football program: compete for championships and beat rivals Ohio State and Michigan State.

Up to that point, the Wolverines had lost three in a row and 10 of their previous 11 to the Buckeyes, and six of seven to the Spartans.

Since then, Michigan has mustered just one win against Michigan State. Combined, the Wolverines (and Harbaugh) are 1-5 against both teams.

"It drives us quite a bit," Harbaugh said last week at Big Ten media days.
