EAST LANSING -- Jim Brandstatter, an East Lansing native, confirmed Tuesday his 31-year radio career covering Detroit Lions games has come to an end.
The news was hard to take for people with ties to the Lansing area, especially those who have known him for decades.
"There doesn't seem to be loyalty anymore," said Bob Every, the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame's executive director.
