The Wolverines threw their hat into the ring for New Canaan, Conn. offensive lineman Jack Stewart just over a week ago, offering the 6-foot-5, 280 pounder a scholarship following his trip to Ann Arbor. On Monday, he announced his decisions on Twitter, revealing his commitment to Michigan.
Selecting the Wolverines over scholarship offers from Texas A&M, TCU, Arizona, Boston College, Maryland and others, Stewart is rated as a three-star prospect on 247Sports, while he has yet to be rated by other major outlets.
Stewart is the second player to commit to Michigan in as many days, and the eighth to join the 2019 recruiting class.
