After a convincing win last week against Wisconsin, Michigan Football (6-1) is right back in the playoff conversation with five games remaining on its schedule. At the same time, the Big Ten conference as a whole hasn’t quite exceeded expectations. The only two teams left without a conference loss are the Wolverines and Buckeyes, who both have a 4-0 record in the Big Ten East Division.
Penn State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin we’re predicted to be conference power houses this season, but all three teams have already suffered two losses. The Spartans and the Badgers lost to Arizona State and BYU respectfully, which may have already ruined their chances of making the College Football Playoff.
