DIMONDALE -- Miles Bridges and Fredrick "Booman" Edmond go way back. Bridges is from Flint. Edmond is from Lansing. They played AAU ball for the Michigan Mustangs back in the day. For two college-aged guys, that feels like a million years ago. They've intersected on the hardwood countless times since. When asked about the nostalgia, they both smile at the kinship, looking past their very different realities.
Bridges and Edmond have everything and nothing in common.
The former turned down millions of dollars this offseason. Bridges stood under a cascade of NBA riches and chose to open an umbrella, returning to school for his sophomore year at Michigan State.
