Illinois QB Jeff George, Jr. indicates plans to transfer to Michigan

Michigan might be on the verge of adding another experienced quarterback to its roster.

Jeff George, Jr., who graduated and played two seasons at the University of Illinois, indicated Tuesday night plans to transfer to Michigan.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback posted a maize and blue graphic with the block 'M' on his personal Twitter and Instagram accounts, writing, "Go Blue!!!"

It's unclear whether George has been offered a scholarship or plans to walk on, but he confirmed his decision late Tuesday to The Wolverine. He did not immediately respond to a message from MLive seeking comment.
