Michigan football opens the season on Sept. 5 on the road against Washington and finish it on Nov. 28 on the road against Ohio State Wochit
(This is Part 8 of a series reviewing Michigan’s 2019 position groups and looking ahead to 2020).
For the past three seasons, Michigan football relied on Lavert Hill and Josh Metellus in the secondary.
Both players made 38 career starts – Hill at cornerback and Metellus at safety. They were reliable veterans whose presence was felt every game.
Neither will return in 2020.
But this isn’t a complete rebuild for the Wolverines.
