A win over a top-10 Florida team was not enough for Georgia to leapfrog Michigan in the national rankings this week.
The idle Wolverines remained fifth in the AP Top 25 and Amway Coaches polls released on Sunday, two days before the first set of College Football Playoff rankings are due out.
Georgia beat No. 9 Florida on Saturday, 36-17, to move up to No. 6 in the AP poll. The Bulldogs are tied with Michigan for fifth in the coaches poll.
