Michigan football right guard Zak Zinter spoke to the media Tuesday for the first time since suffering a hand injury that has forced him to wear a cast to begin the season.
“My bone hasn’t healed 100% yet, but with the cast I’m 100% ready to go,” Zinter said. “A few more weeks in that, hopefully, and I’ll be able to get my hand back.”
Zinter told reporters his hand got caught in a teammate’s facemask a few weeks into training camp. The entanglement broke Zinter’s wrist and ultimately led to surgery.
