When Ronnie Bell was younger, his dad, Aaron, had a message for him.

"You don't get to play if you don't block."

Those words have stuck with Bell. In Saturday's 44-10 win over Michigan State, Bell laid a key block, taking a Spartans defensive back to the ground to spring tight end Sean McKeon for a big gain.
