BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – Mike Glennie remembers the game, the hit, the sideline and the kitchen conversation.

Saline High School was playing Adrian in southeast Michigan. The Hornets had a senior behind center who Glennie, Saline’s coach, figured would be in the profession himself before long.
