Forgive yourself if you’ve forgotten about Alex Faedo.
Faedo is so 2017, drafted before the Detroit Tigers got really bad. He was taken with the 18th overall pick and seemed like a steal, pitching Florida to the College World Series championship.
He fell off the map in 2018, his fastball velocity hovering around 90 mph, his right arm still a bit rusty from a nearly nine-month layoff after the World Series.
