Hotel room disputes and long days in Wichita for Michigan basketball

WICHITA, Kan. -- Duncan Robinson just wants some peace and quiet so he can sleep. The redshirt senior prefers the TV be turned off and phone activity cease come bedtime.

The problem for Zavier Simpson, Robinson's roommate in Wichita, is that bedtime is at 10:30.

"We're at different parts of our lives," Robinson said Friday inside Intrust Bank Arena, with Simpson on the other end of the spacious locker room. Simpson turned 21 last month. Robinson will be 24 in April.

The two have a sibling-like spat going, owing to Michigan's late-night tip-offs and the NCAA Tournament structure that provides a day off between rounds.
