Four-star guard Zeb Jackson commits to Michigan basketball

John Beilein has his first basketball player in the 2020 recruiting class. Zeb Jackson, a four-star guard out of Ohio, committed to Michigan on Tuesday night.

Jackson made the announcement on social media. He is the No. 66 prospect in his class, according to the 247sports.com composite rankings, and the 18th-best shooting guard.

Jackson had Michigan in his final seven schools along with Michigan State, Purdue, and Butler, among others.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds, Jackson is a junior at Maumee Valley High School, which is eight miles southwest of Toledo, Ohio. Michigan does not comment on recruits before they sign their national letter of intent, but Jackson was believed to be the first player in the 2020 class to have received a scholarship offer from Michigan.
