The Michigan Wolverines released their 2025 roster for the upcoming college football season, and one player was notably absent — linebacker Tyler McLaurin.
A spokesperson with the program confirmed with Maize n Brew that McLaurin is no longer a player on the team. Instead, McLaurin graduated from the university and is now a coaching intern with the Wolverines.
McLaurin appeared in 18 games over his four years in Ann Arbor, with most of his snaps coming on special teams. He did play some snaps at linebacker as a true freshman in 2021 before transitioning to the edge.
