Former Michigan Forward Kam Chatman Joining Bacari Alexander at Detroit

Michigan forward Kameron Chatman is transferring to the University of Detroit Mercy, joining former Wolverine assistant Bacari Alexander, who is now the program's head coach.

Chatman will have to sit out the 2016-17 season, but will have two remaining years of eligibility starting in 2017-18.

Chatman was a former four-star prospect and had his ups and downs while in Ann Arbor. He played in 60 career games for the Wolverines and averaged 3.2 points and two rebounds per game.

His signature moment at Michigan came in the Big Ten Tournament in an upset win over Indiana, where he hit a buzzer-beating 3-point shot from the corner that help the Wolverines punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
