Finish to 2017 still fresh on Michigan football players' minds

ANN ARBOR -- It's been nearly three months now, but the way 2017 played out for the Michigan football team remains fresh.

The Wolverines lost three straight games to close the season with an 8-5 record, a stretch that included losses to Wisconsin, Ohio State and South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.

For the returning players, you could say it serves as a reminder.

"It's hard," defensive end Rashan Gary said. "It's hard to watch the last three games. Because I remember me and Devin Bush -- we was at the dorm just watching. Seeing where we went wrong.
