Face it, Michigan football: You're no longer a blue blood

MADISON, Wisc. — Jim Harbaugh suffered his worst loss as Michigan’s football coach Saturday afternoon against Wisconsin.

But it’s not the loss that will linger. It’s the unsettling realization that this program isn’t close to where you hoped it would be by now in year five of Harbaugh’s tenure.

That stings. Mostly because it begs a fundamental question:

If Harbaugh isn’t the man, who is?

And if you love the maize and blue, where do you go from here?

For U-M didn’t just lose its Big Ten opener at Camp Randall Stadium.
