Former Michigan forward Ibi Watson is headed to Dayton.
Watson, a sophomore from Ohio, announced his plans to leave Michigan after two years shortly after the team returned from an appearance in the national championship game.
On Wednesday, he announced his destination.
Watson, a 6-foot-5, 190-pounder from Pickerington, Ohio, will have two years of eligibility remaining at Dayton. Per transfer rules, he'll have to sit out next season before being able to finish up beginning with the 2019-20 campaign.
A former three-star prospect from the same high school that produced Caris LeVert, Watson averaged 1.
