Ed Warinner's quest to fix the Michigan O-line started with its pysche

ANN ARBOR -- Members of Michigan's offensive line have fully admitted to hearing the outside noise in recent years.

The finger pointing from fans and alumni. The criticism from the media.

Last year, the group ranked 13th out of 14 Big Ten teams when it came to sacks allowed (36), trailing only Illinois, and 12th in tackles for loss allowed (83). Those were statistics no one in the program was proud of, especially the returning members of the line.

Not only did new offensive line coach Ed Warinner have to rebuild the line in spring, but he found himself having to re-instill belief in the players.
