In 1992, those five names cemented themselves in college basketball history as they became the first-ever team to make an appearance in the National Championship game with a starting lineup made entirely of true freshmen.
Then, they led the Michigan Wolverines back to the National Championship one season later. However, Webber, Rose, Howard, King, and Jackson never actually secured their highly sought-after ring.
Recently, there has been a campaign to hang a Fab Five banner from the rafters in the Wolverines' home arena.
