Desmond Howard: Archie Griffin did 'thing the Michigan player did' during Ohio State spring game

Even as Ohio State football faced itself during its annual spring game Saturday, Desmond Howard found a chance to to highlight "The Game."

In the third quarter of the Buckeyes' spring game, two-time Heisman Trophy winning running back Archie Griffin was given a ceremonial handoff from quarterback Kyle McCord, taking it 25 yards for a touchdown. After he crossed the goal line, Griffin struck a Heisman pose similar to what Howard made famous as a Michigan wide receiver against the Buckeyes on a punt return score in 1991.
