It's Gameday, Michigan football fans. The Wolverines will take on New Mexico tonight in the first game of the season.
The Mountain West opponent with a new head coach and 79 new players is a 34.5-point underdog. So Michigan shouldn't have too much trouble with the Lobos in the debut of starting quarterback Bryce Underwood.
Underwood will be the first freshman starting quarterback for the Wolverines since Tate Forcier back in 2009. Hopefully, his campaign goes more like Chad Henne's, who led U-M to a Big Ten title and a berth in the Rose Bowl.
