The Michigan Wolverines are off to a solid start to their basketball season with a 3-0 record, but it hasn't come without a few close calls. The Wolverines absolutely owned Oakland with a 121-78 win at home in front of the faithful crowd.
The next two games, however, are where the trouble began as Michigan had to go to overtime in order to take down Wake Forest 85-84 and then only beat TCU in Fort Worth 67-63. Luckily, the Wolverines were able to come away with wins on both of those games and keep their undefeated record alive so early in the season, but clearly the AP poll had its thoughts on Michigan's performance.
