Citrus Bowl win would mean a lot more to Michigan football, as Alabama yawns

If someone had said back in August that Michigan football would be playing Alabama in the postseason, the expectation would've been a reference to the College Football Playoff.

That's not the case.

The Wolverines and Crimson Tide found out Sunday they will play in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1 in Orlando, Florida, 436 miles from the Peach Bowl CFP semifinal and 2,152 miles from the Fiesta Bowl semifinal.
