Charles Woodson to give commencement address at University of Michigan

ANN ARBOR, MI - Former Michigan football legend and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson will deliver the University of Michigan Spring Commencement address for the Ann Arbor campus on April 28 at Michigan Stadium.

The legendary Michigan defensive back recently was announced to be part of the 2018 College Football Hall of Fame. Woodson, 41, helped lead the Wolverines to their 1997 co-national championship, earning first-team All-American Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors while claiming the prestigious Heisman Trophy.

His resume at Michigan was long, claiming Big Ten Rookie of the Year honors in 1995, first-team All-American in 1996, and winning the Walter Camp Award, Bronco Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award and Jim Thorpe Award, in addition to the Heisman Trophy, in 1997.
