The coronavirus pandemic isn’t stopping the ChadTough Foundation.
This weekend was supposed to be the annual Champions for Change Gala fundraiser for pediatric brain cancer research, but statewide health and safety rules won’t allow people to gather in large groups. Instead, the foundation is running an audible.
A virtual event called "ChadTough Live: Tougher Together" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday and includes former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr, former basketball coach John Beilein, former Detroit Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge and sportscaster Dick Vitale.
