The Bryce Underwood that Michigan football fans saw on Saturday is the Bryce Underwood that they have been expecting to see.
However, that wasn't the Underwood we saw against Oklahoma. He threw some stellar passes against the Sooners, but there was only one designed run call. He threw for under 150 yards.
Yet, some of that was the coaching staff, 'taking the air out of the ball" as Michigan football interim head coach Biff Poggi said after the 63-3 win. He said after the way Bryce Underwood played on Saturday, the Wolverines would never take the air out of the ball again.
