Bryce Underwood hasn't won the Michigan starting QB job yet

Related Topics: Michigan, Mikey Keene, Brice Marich

Michigan football held its first padded practice on Saturday, and afterward, both coordinators, Wink Martindale and Chip Lindsey met with the media.

Martindale said some interesting stuff. He mostly praised the defense but didn't say anyhing too earth shattering.

Lindsey, the play-caller for Michigan football on offense this season, didn't either, outside of some comments he made about the Wolverines' QB battle.

Bryce Underwood, the five-star freshman, is competing against Mikey Keene, a Fresno State transfer, to be the starter. Jake Garcia, who played for ECU last season, was also added to the room this summer, along with former four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis.
