The Big Ten Conference announced its awards on Tuesday afternoon and the regular season champion Michigan Wolverines were well-represented in most areas. The most notable hardware handed out went to Juwan Howard, who was named the Coach of the Year in the conference by both the coaches and media. Hunter Dickinson was named the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Year in both selections, as well.
The coaches selected Dickinson, Isaiah Livers and Franz Wagner to the All-Big Ten second team. Dickinson was a first-team All-Big Ten selection by the media, while Livers and Wagner were selected to the second and third teams, respectively.
