Big Ten Baseball Tournament: Michigan walked-off by Purdue in second round

Just a little more than 24 hours after a walk-off victory versus No. 6 Iowa, the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines were walked-off by the No. 2 Purdue Boilermakers in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday.

Purdue’s Evan Warden delivered the game-winning single in the ninth inning off of Michigan lefty closer William Tribucher.

Purdue got on the board in the bottom of the first inning courtesy of Jacson McGowan’s two-out RBI single. In the fourth, Evan Kennedy’s run-scoring triple to straightaway center field scored Ben Nisle from first, pushing the Boilermakers’ lead to 2-0.
