ANN ARBOR -- I started writing this last Friday, got through it about halfway and the Tim Drevno news broke.
As you can imagine, that certainly took precedent.
And while we still have no clarification yet from Michigan on the status of its football coaching staff, it's safe to assume at this point (based on reports and other indications) that Ed Warinner will take over as offensive line coach.
Where that leaves the coordinator position is unknown at this point. It's likely Jim McElwain assumes the role, doubling up his duties already as wide receivers coach, but no official declaration has been made.
