The man in charge of Michigan athletics spoke with guarded optimism last week as the university outlined its plans for holding voluntary workouts under the specter of the novel coronavirus.
Warde Manuel acknowledged there were unknowns and that Michigan Stadium won’t be packed to the brim.
But he speculated about the possibility of fans in attendance, which means Manuel is operating under the assumption there will be games this fall.
