Michigan football currently has a top-10 recruiting class in 2026, but there are still some big fish out there, including five-star running back Savion Hiter.
There isn't a more important target on the board for the Wolverines. Hiter is 5-foot-11, 205 pounds and is the consensus No. 1 running back in the 2026 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings (17th overall) and On3 Industry Rankings (12th). Both have him ranked as a five-star recruit out of Mineral, Virginia.
Last month, Hiter visited Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Georgia. However, it continues to feel as though the recruitment has come down to Michigan and Tennessee.
