ANN ARBOR -- Nebraska's first drive on Saturday lasted four plays and ended with an interception. Michigan responded with a six-play touchdown drive. After that, the Wolverines said, Nebraska gave up.
"We knew they ain't want to play," Michigan junior safety Josh Metellus said after U-M's 56-10 victory. "You could just tell the intensity, it was kind of flat. I just knew personally that they didn't want to play with us."
Senior defensive end Chase Winovich agreed, saying he felt a change in the Cornhuskers after Michigan quickly took a 7-0 lead.
"It seemed like they didn't really want to be out there at some points," Winovich said.
