4-star Michigan football commit tells Miami and Colorado thanks but no thanks

In the modern era of college football, a commitment doesn't always mean a lot. With NIL deals luring players away, athletes flying in and out of the transfer portal, and the lack of National Letters of Intent, coaches have to rely more and more on trust than anything.

Because of all that, when four-star defensive lineman Alister Vallejo reaffirmed his commitment to the Michigan Wolverines, head coach Sherrone Moore undeniably breathed a sigh of relief.

Vallejo, who committed to the Wolverines in June over powerhouse programs such as Notre Dame, recently received offers from the Miami Hurricanes and the Colorado Buffaloes.
