March madness vibes circulated throughout Las Vegas in Michigan's unchallenging win in the Player's era tournament opener.
San Diego State limped into Monday night's encounter with Michigan basketball. Despite that, they raced out to a 5-0 lead, but it was all Wolverines from then on. Dusty May's troops played to their full potential, especially in the second 20 minutes, and dismantled the Aztecs by 40. The effort was pretty equally impressive from everyone who got in, most importantly of note, that it came on the defensive end of the floor.
