Three Michigan Wolverines earned national recognition from Sports Illustrated on their top 100 College Football Players list — including Viper Khaleke Hudson, cornerback Lavert Hill and quarterback Shea Patterson.
The top ranked Wolverine is Hudson at No. 40. That would make him the No. 7 overall player in the Big Ten. Hudson had a fantastic sophomore season with 77 tackles, 16 for loss, 7.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and 9 passes defended.
He did not replicate those numbers in 2018. He had nearly half as many tackles with 39 and only one sack last season.
