At last year’s All-American Bowl, the Michigan Wolverines were able to acquire a commitment from a four-star cornerback from California — Darion Green-Warren. This year, the Wolverines missed out on a California corner during the All-American Bowl, as 2021 four-star Ceyair Wright just announced his commitment to USC.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder from Los Angeles has long been considered a top target at the cornerback position for the Wolverines. He released a top seven last month, including Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oregon and Stanford.
Wright visited Ann Arbor for the first and only time this fall for the Wisconsin game, but that clearly was not enough for him to be convinced it was the place for him.
