Standing at 6-foot-6, 2020 4-star quarterback Jay Butterfield is one tall high school junior.
The Brentwood, California native was in attendance for the Michigan Wolverines’ win over the Wisconsin Badgers last weekend. It was his first time in Ann Arbor, and he told Maize n Brew his first ever trip to U-M was a “great” one.
“It was a great trip. The Big House was awesome,” Butterfield said. “Had a chance to tour the facility, watch practice and meet with coach Harbaugh and Hamilton. It was a great trip overall.”
During his time in Ann Arbor, Butterfield was able to spend time with head coach Jim Harbaugh and passing game coordinator Pep Hamilton, watch a practice and tour the facility.
