Here we are in late August, and Michigan just beat Ohio State. No, not on the field—that won’t happen for a while—but on the recruiting trail. Wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell (Egg Harbor City, N.J.) chose the Wolverines over the Buckeyes on Thursday evening.
Mitchell is rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 athlete in the 2016 class and the No. 3 athlete in New Jersey.
It’s no big deal or anything, but Mitchell’s announcement was made with a plane flying over Atlantic City.
