2015-16 Season Preview: Ice Hockey

2015-16 OUTLOOK

Michigan ice hockey head coach Red Berenson enters his 32nd season behind the bench in 2015-16, having guided the Wolverines to record-setting success. Under his direction, U-M won two national championships, in 1996 and 1998, qualified for 22 consecutive NCAA Tournaments from 1991-2012 -- an NCAA record -- and reached the Frozen Four on 11 occasions. Michigan looks to return to the NCAA tournament after a three year absence and will be led by junior forward JT Compher, who will serve as team captain for the 2014-15 season.
